As part of our ongoing effort to evolve and rethink how we connect, we’re beginning to move our social presence (so NOT this website) away from big tech platforms and toward more decentralized spaces. That’s why we’re embracing the fediverse—especially platforms like Mastodon.
We’re happy to announce the launch of synthpub.com: a friendly Mastodon instance for synth lovers and modular enthusiasts. Moderated with respect in mind and funded through voluntary support, it’s designed to be a welcoming hub for sharing gear, ideas, creative electronic jams, and meeting fellow synth lovers.
We’re fully aware that building a new community takes time and care. For that reason, our existing social channels will remain active for now. This new space isn’t a replacement yet—it’s an extension. We’ll continue to grow it organically until we feel ready and comfortable making a full transition. Just FYI again, this website (synthsfromthesouth.com) will not be part of any new transition, so it’s here to stay 🙂
